One of our favorite things to do at Kiln is to celebrate our members. This last week brought some fantastic news for the Tiled team, current Lehi members. Tiled is a micro-app platform for interactive sales and marketing communications that recently raised an additional $1.5 million in seed financing. This great announcement comes hot off the heels of Tiled being deemed a 2019 “Cool Company” by the San Diego Venture Group. 

Tiled’s financing round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund who contributed to the initial seed round in 2018, joined shortly by Stage 2 Capital, Tiled secured approximately $3.8 million to continue the hyper-growth of their business. As noted in a press release from Tiled, the financing takes place at a time of rapid growth for Tiled and will be used to further develop the company's sales, marketing and engineering teams. CEO Darrell Swainexpects this funding to be instrumental in accelerating growth. "This is a strategic follow-on to last year's seed round. We validated everything we set out to validate with that financing, including doubling our annual recurring revenue, and we felt it was now time to accelerate our hiring," he said.
